Hunt the BIG rubs!!! Find a funnel that has BIG rubs and offers enough concealment to make the big guys feel comfortable passing through. This will increase your odd's of bagging a bruiser tremendously in the pre-rut and rut. Also, it is important to be patient. Hunt the wind. If you don't have a good wind for that particular stand set then don't hunt it. If you are patient enough to wait for the wind, you may just fill your tag on your first trip to that stand.
