First Deer

I'm 13 and I live in a small town in Washington and I have been hunting and fishing as long as I can remember. I have been hunting deer since I was 10 and I finally got one this year. I had hunted my but off all year for one and the last day of the season I was on the way home with one of my friends from hunting and we pulled in the driveway and there was a monster buck, but he took off as well as a doe and there was a little 2x2 that stayed, so I jumped out and got him. Then I went running inside and my dad got ready and we went down to the woods and there was that doe not 10 yards from us, so we shot it for my dad and we had 2 deer down in less than 30 minutes. It was a great day of hunting and I hope to see the big buck next year. I shot my buck with an over and under 12ga, 00 buck and slugs, but slugs and chokes don't like each other that much haha.
