I am a retired truck driver do to an accident living in Illinois. My daughter lives off county Y 4 miles up from Hwy. 79. I am looking for some property to hunt on in this area. do to my injuries I am only able to walk short distances so i usually ride a quad to an area on my daughters place and then walk in to where I can hunt . It takes me awhile but I get there. I tracked and chased alot of turkey's in the spring hunt but just could'nt get one. I am able to move about a little at a time but then I have to rest catch breath. after 25 years of driving and 13 surgeries this is my relaxation, plus my excercise. I am hoping someone will read this and maybe give some place to go to or any suggestions at all. I hunt by myself or with my 13 year old daughter. i will be buying property down there just have to wait for surgeries to end and insurance to pay me. love to be able to do some fall turkey and deer hunting if at all possible. If anyone has property or knows where i might able to get on some please look me up on facebook. sure would appreciate some help in this quest.
