Alaska deer hunting season is limited to zones 1 thru 8 on the states southern coast. Alaska deer hunting seasons are subject to change and sometimes are closed abruptly due to the adverse affects of a particularly severe winter. Be sure to check with the Alaska Fish and Game Department before planning your hunt.
Below you will find the season for each game management unit, along with a map of each unit.

W.) including Peregrebni Peninsula, and east of a line from the outlet of Crescent Lake to Mount Ellison Peak and from Mount Ellison Peak to Pokati Point at Whale Passage, and that portion of Kodiak Island east of a line from the mouth of Saltery Creek to the mouth of Elbow Creek, and adjacent small islands in Chiniak Bay
