Go with your gut

A few years ago I went hunting with my dad on my birthday. I was very excited because I had just finished my hunters safety course and couldn’t wait to put it into practice.

Well on that day it was probably 50 degrees out and cloudy.

We got into the stand around 3pm we sat until dark and didn’t see anything except a couple turkeys.(is it just me or do you always see turkeys when deer hunting and deer when turkey hunting?) Anyway we got home that night and I asked my dad if we could go out tomorrow he said no because I had school and he had to get back to work.

But I just had a feeling that we should go.

Well as you might have guessed we checked the camera by our stand the next week and the day that I wanted to go, an 8 point buck walked by at 5pm that night and a 8 point in southern NH is BIG.

So I guess the moral of the story is go with your gut feeling.

  1. Hi John
I’m interested in purchasing Deer mineral. Imperial Whitetail 30-06 or another good product such as Antler King Maximizer.
The problem is that I reside in Canada. I live near Calgary, Alberta.
Any idea how a guy goes about buying these products. 30-06 is not available.
I may be able to drive into Montana and purchase product but there should be an easier way.
    Any ideas on

    • Hey Terry,

      Thanks for reaching out!

Do you have access to Amazon where you live?

That is where we get all of our minerals from. They deliver right to our door.

      Hope this helps,
      John
