As a former professional hunting guide in Alaska that came from Kentucky 30 some years ago, I have always preferred the hunters from the South.

They are just good hunters, that’s all there is to it!

Most of us were raised on farms and all of us have had our britches torn by going through bob wire fences.

That reminds me, I have not seen a fence in Alaska since I been here!

I plan on contributing a few posts now and again and want to thank John for the opportunity.

My next post here will be about hunting Alaska on your own without the aid of a guide.

Species you can legally hunt here without a guide are Moose, Caribou, Black Bear and Sitka Blacktail deer.

Stay tuned for some great Alaskan Adventure Stories

You are indeed a lucky man!
