In today's post, we are going to do a review of the Tac Force TF-469 spring assisted pocket knife.
We love that Tac Force knives produces some really affordable pocket knives that get the job done, without breaking the bank.
Please understand that this knife is not a high grade piece of cutlery like you are used to with our other reviews.
These tactical folding knives are extremely inexpensive, but good enough to last a couple of seasons of deer hunting.

The Tac Force knife is a decent little folding knife.
While it is a lesser quality, it certainly will do the job while deer hunting and it will last for quite a while with the proper care.
I ordered this from Amazon and it arrived very quickly, almost overnight. It comes in a nice little box and is packaged well.
The black straight edge blade can be honed razor sharp with one of the best hunting knife sharpeners, however it will not hold an edge like top quality knives will.
We do like the assisted opening and its size is very convenient to carry in your pocket.
The Tac Force TF-469 is our Editor's Choice for the Best Cheap Deer Hunting Knife.
Tac Force TF-469 Quality
As mentioned earlier, the quality of the TF-469 is not up to the standards of most deer hunting knives.
It does however meet a price point that is unheard of in a deer hunting knife today.
In our search for a cheap deer hunting knife, it was very difficult to find a knife that was inexpensive and yet met our expectations for a knife that we could use for a season or two.
The brown Pakkawood handle seems to be of good quality.
It has a 4 inch black stainless steel straight edge blade that can be honed to a fine edge.
It does not however hold that edge for long under use.
Design and Functionality
What the TF-469 lacks in quality it kind of makes up for in design and functionality.
While it is not a knife that you will be quartering and deboning very many deer with.
It is a knife that works very well for field dressing and skinning.
It has a spring assisted opening mechanism and thumb stud, making it simple to open with one hand.
The Pakkawood handle feels very good in your hand and it is lightweight.
It comes with a pocket clip for ease of carrying.
Add in an unbelievably inexpensive price, and you have the best cheap deer hunting knife on the market today.

Final Verdict
While the Tac Force TF-469 is not going to win any quality awards, it does fit a need for an inexpensive hunting knife that can complete most of the tasks needed by a deer hunter without breaking the bank.
It is also a great, inexpensive folding knife for everyday carry.
While you probably won't hand it down to your kids, like a Buck 110, it is a great knife that is inexpensive and would make a good first knife for young hunters.
