In this Burris Droptine Binoculars Review we are going to rate the 10X42 version and determine if they are some of the best binoculars for hunting.

I have used the Burris Droptine 10X42 binoculars during the 2021 bowhunting season and I was impressed by the quality, given the lower price point.

I was particularly pleased with their light gathering capability, which as a bowhunter, is very important to me. Most of my deer sightings are around dawn and dusk, so superior low light performance is at the top of my list.

The Burris Droptine Binos are an ideal combination of high quality features at a reasonable price for optics.

They are lightweight and comfortable to use with the rubberized coating that has a very unique texture which ideal for a solid grip in all weather conditions.

Burris Droptine Binoculars Quality

Burris Droptine Quality 95/100

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Burris Droptine binoculars.

One of the first thing that I noticed when I took them out of the box was the eyecups. Most of the hunting binoculars that I have used have plastic eyecups that are susceptible to damage if you drop them or bang them on a tree or tree stand. The Burris Droptine has aluminum eyecups which are much more durable.

The prisms on these binos are phase corrected and dielectric coated which increases light transmission and provides true color with no distortion.

They also feature fully multi-coated lenses which gives you ultra clear subjects and virtually no glare.

These are high quality binoculars without the sticker shock of some binoculars.

Design and Functionality

Design and Functionality 95/100

The Burris Droptine binoculars are super lightweight with a really cool textured rubber armour coating that makes gripping them and holding them a pleasure.

They are compact and just the right size for your finger to find the the center focus wheel, for fast focusing.

I found them to be excellent in low light conditions which is very important for us hunters as we do a lot of hunting at dawn and dusk.
