Trevor Smith's Big Seven

It was the 2006 youth deer hunting season and it happened to also be my birthday, September 23rd. I had one hour of hunting before my football game, so my father and I headed for our stand. We were sitting there for about 10 minutes and we started seeing shadows and hearing footsteps. At first light we saw 8 bucks standing less than 75 yards away. I leveled my ruger 243 on the biggest one and dropped him. This wasn't my first buck but it was definitly my biggest. It had a 15 inch spread seven points and 13 inch G2s. It scored 123 b&c
